Fibre installations done before the 15th of the month, will incur a full month charge. Fibre installations done after the 15th of the month, will incur a half month charge irrespective of the amount of days left in the month. Example: If you chose the 6mbps fibre package and your installation was done on the 10th of the month, you will be billed the full amount of R410 for that month. If your installation was done on the 28th of the month, you will be billed R205 for that month.
Please note that the fibre network and infrastructure belongs to True Communications and as such, they are responsible for the installation of the physical fibre cable from the nearest distribution point to your home. When you submit your fibre application at MCE, it will be processed and submitted to True Communications where you will be placed on a waiting list for installation. The waiting time is determined by True Communications and may differ from time to time. MCE is responsible for the router installation and Wi-Fi setup in your home as well as all internet related support that you may require while making use of our fibre service. However, if your internet is not working due to a fault on the fibre network, you will need to report this to MCE immediately so that we can report the fault to True Communications for repairs. If your internet is not working due to a Wi-Fi or router related issue, one of our MCE technicians can directly assist to resolve the fault as soon as possible.
We shall not be held liable for any loss of business, income or any other damages that may arise in case of no internet connectivity for any reason whatsoever. No discounts will be applicable for any duration of no or slow internet connectivity.
